The Gyraff 220 impresses with its sophisticated features, developed by Turicum Engineering. Its hybrid drive system ensures environmentally friendly and quiet operation with a virtually unlimited operating range.
Built on a Volvo FM chassis, this hybrid commercial vehicle is designed for performance. Its 18-metre outreach and 350-kilogram boom load, with the boom supported within the vehicle’s profile, are unique. With a working height of 22 metres whilst the boom is supported within the vehicle’s profile, working at height becomes a breeze. A useful advantage in cities or on busy roads. The tower of the telescopic boom always remains within the vehicle’s clearance profile and does not protrude beyond it.
The intelligent hybrid drive combines maximum power with outstanding energy efficiency and reduced fuel consumption. When running on electric power, the Gyraff 220 operates completely silently and emission-free. There is no idling whatsoever, which saves fuel, reduces emissions and minimises wear and tear.
The vehicle can be manoeuvred precisely directly from the work basket – ensuring maximum efficiency and safety during operation.
The support within the vehicle's outline allows for safe working even in confined spaces.
Full of energy and endurance
With its 58 kWh lithium battery, the Gyraff 220 telescopic lift handles its tasks effortlessly and with sustained performance in electric mode. The Gyraff 220 is powered by the built-in battery throughout its entire operating mode. Its sustainable safety concept ensures that flat batteries are not a problem. Once the battery is depleted, the hybrid commercial vehicle switches to the diesel engine. Until the next power point is reached, all units of the hybrid telescopic lift are powered by the combustion engine.
For maximum operational efficiency
In addition to environmental considerations, Turicum Engineering’s hybrid commercial vehicles focus on efficient workflows. That is why the Gyraff 220 has also been fitted with a 3D environmental scanning system that detects hazards in front of the vehicle and provides the driver with optimal support whilst working.
Move the truck without leaving the basket
The unique feature of the Gyraff 220 hybrid telescopic lift is its intelligent zControl system in the basket. To manoeuvre the vehicle, there is no longer any need to leave the basket. The basket simply needs to be moved into a safe area. The outriggers can then be retracted using the remote control, and the entire vehicle can be moved using the electric drive. Once the hybrid utility vehicle has reached its new position, the outriggers can be operated from within the basket. This offers a significant advantage in terms of efficiency and speed.
