The ETW-02 hybrid tower truck stands for a sophisticated hybrid concept. It combines silent and emission-free working and offers an enormous range. The ETW-02 has a diesel engine and an additional electric motor for propulsion during operation. The diesel engine guarantees that the machine reaches the work site with the usual reliability. At the work site, the hybrid utility vehicle becomes an electric lifting platform. The drive and all electrical systems and equipment are powered quietly and emission-free by the built-in lithium battery. The ETW-02 can easily complete work assignments of up to 12 hours without recharging.
Sustainable and user-friendly
The ETW-02 hybrid tower truck also impresses with additional resource-saving features. As with all Turicum Engineering hybrid vehicles, the zControl remote control is fitted as standard in the ETW-02 tower truck. The driver can actively participate in the work in the basket and move the entire vehicle via a flexibly positionable control system in the insulated basket. Operation is easy and intuitive. 3D sensors support the driver: the intelligent assistance system scans the area in front of and behind the tower truck and brakes in the event of danger.
Maximum reliability with electric drive
When building our hybrid commercial vehicles, we aim to harmonise the reliability of a combustion engine and the emissions of an electric vehicle in the best possible way. The ETW-02 hybrid tower truck can be charged at any power socket. Should the energy in the lithium batteries nevertheless run low, the built-in generator recharges the batteries via the diesel engine in four hours. Work does not have to be interrupted. The diesel engine is switched off again after a short intermediate charge.
There are 3D cameras both at the front and at the rear. These prevent possible collisions, for example with pedestrians in front of the vehicle.
The aerial work platform is specially customised to the customer's needs. We specialise in the field of insulated work platforms.
The interior fittings, as well as external boxes, are customised to suit the respective client.
The available space is optimally utilised and boxes and loading areas are adapted accordingly.
Battery packs, voltage, performance and number of cells or any expansion of capacity are customised for the specific application. The battery packs are maintenance-free and are charged fully automatically. The ETW-02 reliably covers a complete shift of up to 2 days without emissions.
The tower truck can be controlled using zControl and a joystick. The access platform can also be operated precisely using the stick. The box can be mounted anywhere on the access platform, ensuring a perfect overview at all times.
