With its 100kWh lithium battery, the Elefant R12 masters its work effortlessly and enduringly in electric mode. The Elefant R12 is powered by the built-in battery in all work modes. Its sustainable safety concept ensures that empty batteries are not a problem. If the battery is exhausted, the hybrid commercial vehicle switches to the diesel engine. Until the next power socket is reached, all units of the hybrid telescopic handler are powered by the combustion engine and the battery is recharged. During transfer journeys, the battery is always charged in eco mode when the vehicle is in pushing mode. This protects the brakes and makes optimum use of the energy.
